About Sun Peak Metals
The Sun Peak Metals team has a history of success with multiple discoveries within the Arabian Nubian Shield. The flagship Shire Project is located in the same geological environment as Bisha (Nevsun) and the Asmara Project (Sunridge Gold) in Eritrea. The Nefasit and Adi Dairo Licenses are 100% owned by Sun Peak, while the Meli and Terer Licenses are Joint Ventures held with Ezana Mining, a private Ethiopian company.
The Shire Project
The Shire Project is comprised of six exploration licenses which cover approximately 1,450 square kilometers in northern Ethiopia. An initial 2024 drill program was completed in June 2024 on the Terer and Hamlo VMS Targets. The results confirm the effectiveness of Sun Peak’s discovery methodology, and follow up drilling is expected to resume in October.
