Nefasit is a 100% owned, 440 km² exploration license. The area has multiple VMS trends and licensee of VMS gossans mapped for several kilometers along an east-west trend.
Previous operators on the project drilled one RC hole at Meda, which intercepted 18m at 2.77 g/t Au from surface.
Mada VMS Target
The Mada VMS target consists of two parallel, subvertical VMS trends oriented northeast-southwest and extending over 1.2 kilometres. These trends are associated with coincident gold, silver, copper, and zinc-in-soil geochemical anomalies. A historical drill hole targeting the oxide cap returned 18 metres grading 2.77 grams per tonne gold but was not followed up with additional diamond drilling. The target also coincides with gravity anomalies and VTEM conductors. Ground-based TDEM surveys are planned to support future diamond drill planning.
Nefasit BTR VMS Target
At the Nefasit BTR VMS target, detailed mapping and rock sampling have outlined a one-kilometre-long VMS gossan zone trending northeast-southwest. This includes a newly identified gossan located east of previously known VMS zones. The area is marked by coincident gold, copper, and zinc-in-soil geochemical anomalies, as well as VTEM conductors and gravity high anomalies. Grab samples have returned assays of up to 4.02 grams per tonne gold, along with highly anomalous XRF readings for copper, zinc, and barium. Upcoming work includes TDEM and additional ground gravity surveys to support diamond drill planning.
Aray Target
The Aray Target consists of a series of sub-parallel VMS zones mapped over a strike length of more than 1.5 kilometres, trending northeast-southwest and coinciding with VTEM conductor anomalies. Planned work includes detailed rock sampling, as well as ground gravity and TDEM surveys to support drill target definition.
Abune Sembet VMS Trend
At the Abune Sembet VMS Trend, detailed mapping and rock sampling have been carried out across an area of approximately 36 square kilometres. This work has outlined a 12-kilometre-long VMS trend characterized by gossanous, magnetic, and silica-rich exhalites, which align with both VTEM conductors and gravity high anomalies. Further exploration will include additional rock sampling and geophysical surveys, including ground gravity and TDEM, to refine drill targets.
